A Yunomi with Nuka and tenmoku glaze. The bottom portion of the bowl has been combed while the Nuka has stayed dry. The dry Nuka glaze is prized in Mashiko and Hamada relied upon the different heat zones in the kiln to give him varying degrees of mattness.
