H245   A vase by Hamada Shoji.

A vase by Hamada Shoji. Tenmoku and Nuka glazes. This shape was one that Hamada repeated often and with a variety of glazes and decorative technique. The tenmoku and nuka combination often has this soft overlap where one glaze slowly dissolves into the other. This was done by applying the second glaze when the first was still wet.

9.5 inches tall.
